I deeply love coming to know and understand people.
I believe us each to bear an intrinsic value that can sometimes get forgotten or lost. Folk's lives are rich with stories great and small…dreams…expectations…perceptions…opinions…
I'm captivated and exhilarated by hearing individual accounts of life. That is why I concentrated on interpersonal communication @ the University of Cincinnati while obtaining my BA in communication. It's also what keeps me attentive to every individual I have the opportunity to work with. In my non-work life, I just can't get enough of playing soccer, being outside and volunteering (usually with folks in poverty).
- Blue or black pens? Why? Blue. I just like ‘em. Perhaps a good Jel...
- Ideal vacation (no budget limit, 2 weeks maximum)? You’re killin’ me…just one ideal vacation??? Ok, I give – today I’d head to New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland and Whales. I’d try to unearth my roots, hang out with the locals and search for the Shire to hike around “hobbit style”.
- Best Halloween costume you’ve ever worn?
KAT VON D! (She’s a tattoo artist of recent fame.) I spent FOUR hours covering myself with tattoos & reluctantly took them off a week later. It turned into quite the social experiment…
- Something nobody at Seek knew about you before you answered this question? I’m embarrassingly “into” Sherlock Holmes. (I even have a pop-up “Sherlock-in-the-box.” Is that weird?)
- Do you sleep with one or two pillows? Why? One. That’s all I need. I like it simple.
- Which Friends character most reminds you most of yourself, assuming gender is not relevant? Why? I’d like to veer left and say Donna from That 70’s Show reminds me a bit of myself. She’s tough yet feminine & can hang with the guys but will call them out when they’re full of it.
- If you had to live on nothing but fast food for two weeks, what would be your meal of choice? Um…this question instigates my gag reflex. I would eat a little bit of Wendy’s chili for sustenance and call it a day.
- It’s a warm summer night and you’re sitting on the front porch...what drink is in your hand? I wouldn’t care what I was drinking – I’d be too busy listening to the crickets, going for a walk, looking for the moon and breathing in the sweet intoxicating aroma that warm summer nights bring.
