I was born with no left brain. This went largely unnoticed for most of my early childhood. My parents were delighted. As the left-brain thinking world of high school and even art school pressured me to work in straight lines and right angles I learned to cope by translating every communication and interaction into an image or song. This allowed me to function within the "real" world.

Still with no left brain, I have turned this "weakness" into my greatest contribution at Seek. My ability to convert words and ideas into images and sounds help transform even the most simple research into an amazing, Technicolor multimedia experience.

  1. Blue or black pens?  Why?  Black. Pink puffy paint isn't an option.
  2. Ideal vacation (no budget limit, 2 weeks maximum)?  Two weeks sitting on Oahu's North Shore with my wife.
  3. Best Halloween costume you’ve ever worn? Halloween is a little touchy for me. Before I have even put the costume on people are already guessing who I am: "Edward Scissorhands", "that Jack the Pumpkin King guy", "Professor Snape"...  The end of October is a hard time to be a living Tim Burton character.
  4. Something nobody at Seek knew about you before you answered this question? Despite the fact that I don't smile much, I am happy almost all of the time (and I am probably really happy to see you).
  5. Do you sleep with one or two pillows?  Why?  One. The lid won't close with two.
  6. If you had to live on nothing but fast food for two weeks, what would be your meal of choice? Chipotle Burrito Bowl with black beans, rice, no meat, both corn and tomato salsa, lettuce and cheese.
  7. It’s a warm summer night and you’re sitting on the front porch...what drink is in your hand? K cider from the bottle.
  8. Worst job you’ve ever had: I sold "pre-approved" credit card applications over the phone for about a week. My soul still has a little singed mark on it from being so close to the fiery pits of Hell.
  9. Favorite automobile you’ve ever owned? A 1992 Geo Metro. I would fill up the tank and drive to New York from Cincinnati and drive around the city for a day before the meter would read "E".
