Everyone has a story. It might be good or bad, hidden or on the surface – but it’s there, waiting to be discovered. Also, everyone has an opinion and that opinion is a precious thing. It’s taken years to shape. The thrill is in aiding someone to put words to those opinions, that up until then, might have remained unspoken. I like seeing the big picture – the person, but I love getting to the details – down to singular thoughts and opinions, and seeing it all in the context of that person/big picture. My experience with the creative “out of the box” production world was only broadened by my experiences with the by-the-book “deep in side the box” financial world. Working within the financial world taught me a business perspective that paired with my research training and experience, has proven valuable to my partners. Add to that my production background, and I get to glean the research findings and bring them to life in a fresh creative way.
Here's the random stuff...
- Blue or black pens? Why? Blue. Blue is nicer. It’s kinder/gentler.
- Ideal vacation (no budget limit, 2 weeks maximum)? An Island. Not Hilton Head, though that’s been nice – but a carribean island, small, white sand beaches, wave-runners, sail boat, fresh seafood every night, no television, and amazingly comfortable beds.
- Best Halloween costume you’ve ever worn? I was Mr. Clean once.
- Something nobody at Seek knew about you before you answered this question? I love to do a little urban exploration from time to time. I love old vacant houses. Exploring where no one has been in some time.
- Do you sleep with one or two pillows? Why? One for my head and one between my knees. The knee pillow started when I saw a commercial. I never turned back.
- Which Friends character most reminds you most of yourself, assuming gender is not relevant? Why? Chandler Bing. Sarcastic. Silly. And because a friend of mine said so.
- If you had to live on nothing but fast food for two weeks, what would be your meal of choice? McDonald’s … two cheeseburgers (without onions), large fries, and large coke. That’s money!
- Mac or PC? Why? Mac. Creativity grows on a mac.
- It’s a warm summer night and you’re sitting on the front porch...what drink is in your hand? Sweet Tea in plastic cup.
- Worst job you’ve ever had: Selling Cars. I never felt as cheap as I did then.
- Favorite automobile you’ve ever owned? I had a 1983 Honda Accord Hatchback. Blue. Full of speakers. My own little sound cage.
- Nicknames? Laner
